Arachnoptysis (or Cobweb Shooting) is the first Offensive skill that the monster comes across. It allows you to shoot a cobweb that can either temporarily trap your victims or activate switches and levers.
Arachnoptysis is found in Military Junkyard.
The name "Arachnoptysis" can be interpreted as "arachno-" (spider) + "ptysis" (spitting), meaning "spider spit".
